and Conditions
Payment
When making a booking it is always advisable to telephone us first on
01208 832340 to ensure availability. To secure the booking please send
a deposit of 25% of the tariff plus the completed booking form. The balance
is due 4 weeks before your arrival date. Please make cheques payable to
Mrs H Hugo. If booking within 4 weeks of arrival date please send the
total amount with the booking form.
Cancellation
We appreciate that sometimes changes of plan may occur due to unforeseen
circumstances. Should you have to cancel your booking we will always try
to re-let the barn. If you cancel your booking more than six weeks before
your intended arrival, we may keep the 25% deposit, but you will have
no further liability. If you cancel six weeks or less before your arrival,
you will remain liable to pay the balance of the agreed price in full.
Arrival
and Departure
Please drive down to the farmhouse on your arrival and then one of the
members of the family will show you around. The barn will be ready for
you from 3pm on your date of arrival. You are welcome to arrive before
this time if you wish to drop off luggage. On your departure we ask you
please to vacate the barn by 10am so that we have sufficient time to prepare
the barn for the next guests.
Other
Visitors
Although we are happy for you to have friends visit you, please note that
the barn may not be used to accommodate anyone not mentioned on the booking
form.
Smoking
and Pets
For the comfort of our guests we operate a non-smoking policy and unfortunately
are unable to accommodate pets, other than guide dogs by prior arrangement.
